Can you tell that we absolutely LOVE our GR tees and will definitely wear them everywhere?
Our GR tees come in 3 designs:
One “GOLD” the noun shirt and two RUSH shirts that encourage the support of Guyanese businesses. Both tees say “Powered by G.O.L.D.R.U.S.H. on the back. Swipe to see them all!
“GOLD” and “RUSH” are words that we re-coined specifically for use by Guyanese.
GOLD means: Guyana’s Overseas and Local Descendants
RUSH is: an intentional gathering of six or more members of the Guyanese community (and
the G.O.L.D.R.U.S.H. Association) that has united for the purpose of providing direct, financial support to another community member’s business or event.

A lot of Guyanese that we have met in the diaspora migrated as children, teens or young adults, and we can’t help but wonder, who assisted them with their transition to an entirely new locale and helped them to integrate into a culture that was vastly different from their own?

Today Guyana commemorates Youman Nabi, the birthday of Islam’s holy Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH).
The date is observed as a National Holiday in Guyana and gives the Muslim community the opportunity to reflect on the inspirational teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Happy Youman Nabi Guyana ~
